This is the new Olight PLX GL.
It looks a lot like the previous PLX, but the GL includes a new green laser that can be used independently, with the floodlight, or with the spotlight.
The GL keeps the output at 1200 lumens and 16900 candela, has a rechargeable battery via USB-C, an adjustable positioning rail, and a triangular design that, in my opinion, looks good with basically every gun, but is especially good with this more angular Norsso Slide and Icarus Precision lower with the Tactical Pontoon trigger for the Ruger RXM.
If you’re wondering about holster compatibility, I’ve been carrying with this light for the past few weeks in my Slim Fit Holsters Carnex, but Slim Fit’s entire holster line is light-bearing capable and is all compatible with the original PLX and new PLX GL. I just really like the Carnex because its accessory carrier allows me to carry non-lethal options, particularly the POM OC Spray.
Overall, I really like the new PLX GL. It offers everything that the regular PLX does, but now with a laser for those who want that option.
